When we did the frog trap, we would gather all the neighbors we know, and we would go on the trail and yell, "Frog Trap" and it was very wild and very fun- all because of Dad.
We yelled "Frog Trap" all the way there until we got there, until we got to the swing set, because the frogs are right by the swing set. Then we went by the sewer, and there was already a net under the sewer pipe. So then we had to be very quiet, so that the frogs wouldn’t be scared and jump back into the sewer. So we snuck behind the sewer, and then we pulled a string like really hard. Then the net swung the frogs back and we all caught frogs and put them in a basket.
Then we had to run home really quick because the frogs could only live in water because they were bull frogs and they were green and they were huge.
After that, we took a hose and a red bucket, and filled the red bucket up ¼ of the way. Then we put the frogs in the water. They loved it. They swam around under rocks and sand and everything.
This wouldn’t have happened if Dad wasn’t there because it was his idea.
So everybody put the frogs in the cage and that’s the end of the story.
We remembered that we had a big ditch in the ground, so we filled it up with water and put all the frogs in it. It was huge. We put a tarp on the bottom of the ditch so that the water wouldn’t sink in the dirt. We used bricks to hold the tarp down with.
